Samkit Sharma is an entrepreneur, techno-savvy community leader, and sportsman, specialising in innovation management, product evangelism, and technology-driven community building. He is the founder of Hack2skill, India’s largest and fastest-growing community that connects over 5 million technology innovators, including startups, professionals, freelancers, and student innovators, bridging the gap between emerging talents and the industry while fostering an ecosystem for collaboration and growth.
Hack2skill has partnered with over 10,000 institutes, including IITs and NITs, and engaged with more than 10,000 startups. The platform has hosted over 1,000 hackathons, generated more than 25,000 ideas, trained over 75,000 innovators, and organised 5,000+ boot camps, working with brands such as Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Unilever, and Snap. Hack2skill is also a platform partner for the world’s largest innovation model, the ‘Smart India Hackathon’, run by the government of India, a premier initiative designed to engage students in solving pressing global challenges.
He also co-founded IncubateIND, a platform aimed at nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs through workshops, mentorship, and networking. IncubateIND hosts various educational workshops on topics like drones, health, bots, and cybersecurity, providing a fertile ground for innovators to collaborate and develop new technologies.
Prior to this, Samkit co-founded Xponential Growth Ventures, which focused on building world-class organisations by tapping into grassroots talent in India. Samkit has held leadership roles in ventures such as Vice President at LanCraft, empowering the next generation of gamers, and Director at Indolympix – "The Sports Olympiad", promoting sports and identifying future champions.
Samkit has been an active speaker at various technology and innovation conferences, contributing to discussions on how innovation can drive global change. He has participated in events like the Web Summit, where he shared insights on SaaS and innovation, and collaborated with organisations like ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) for initiatives such as the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2024, advancing space technology.
Samkit holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Amity University and completed his high school education at Vidya Bharti Public School.
