Janet Adams is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at SingularityNET, a leader in decentralised AI and blockchain technology. In her role, she oversees the operations of the SingularityNET Foundation, ensuring the growth and development of the SNET network and ecosystem. Janet’s responsibilities span technology, operations, marketing, strategic partnerships, and business development, with a significant focus on decentralisation and blockchain across various sectors such as robotics, biotech, gaming, media, DeFi, and the arts.

Janet is a strong advocate for the ethical use of AI and decentralised technologies. She is also a co-founder of several ventures, including Yaya Labs, Zarqa, Cogito Protocol, Rejuve Biotech, and Jam Galaxy—the world’s first humanoid robot-fronted band. Janet has also held leadership positions in renowned financial institutions like HSBC, TSB Bank, and RBS, where her work concentrated on AI, automation, strategic projects, and regulatory affairs.

Janet holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geosciences from Imperial College London, a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Essex, and a BSc in Geology from the University of Greenwich. Janet’s published works focus on AI ethics and regulation, and she is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in technology.

Janet is passionate about using technology to drive social good, especially in Africa, with a focus on education, sustainability, and job creation. She continues to lead innovative projects at SingularityNET while ensuring these technologies are used responsibly to benefit society.
