Rohit Bafna is the Founder & CEO at 888vc, a cross-border venture capital platform. Through 888vc, he connects investors across the US, UAE, and India, providing funding solutions to early-stage startups. He invests between $100k to $250k USD through an angel syndicate. He has been an Angel Investor since 2017, supporting startups in sectors like data and analytics, fintech, and information technology.

He is also an Angel Investor and has served as a Mentor at SOSV MOX, supporting startups in various stages of growth. Rohit is an Angel Investor at BusinessOnBot, GOAT Brand Labs, and Sanfe, contributing to startups in fields like SaaS, fashion, and female hygiene products.

He held the position of VP, Investments at 9Unicorns, an early-stage fund investing in technology and consumer goods companies, and worked as a Venture Partner at Venture University, where he sourced startups and managed syndicates.

Rohit was a VP at Venture Catalysts, one of India’s top angel funds, and later an AVP, Investments & Portfolios at the same organisation, overseeing global expansion and helping raise the next rounds of funding for portfolio companies. Rohit is also an Angel Investor at Inflection Point Ventures and Sage AP Automation, where he supported the development of a finance management and governance suite. 

Additionally, he served as an Investment Specialist at ImpactGuru, a crowdfunding platform for healthcare patients, and as an Angel Investor at HomeCapital, a company focused on downpayment financing for housing loans.

Rohit has also contributed to the TiE Silicon Valley as a Member, and has invested in Mate Labs, an ML platform for data analysts. He began his venture capital journey as a Senior Associate at Mumbai Angels Network, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, evaluation, and closure, and as an Associate at ah! Ventures, advising clients on venture capital and private equity transactions.
