Nicola “Nick” Rosa is the Industry Technology Innovation Director for Europe at Accenture and the Director of the Accenture Global Generative AI Studio for Consumer Products. With over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, strategy, and innovation, he has worked at leading global companies, including Google, Spotify, IBM iX, Yahoo!, and Atari.
His expertise spans digital transformation, product strategy, experience design, and technology-driven innovation, with a focus on immersive technologies, spatial computing, generative AI, quantum computing, and blockchain.
Nick is a Board Member at AIXR, an organisation focused on AI and immersive technologies. He was previously the Chairman of the Immersive Technologies Council at BIMA. He also co-hosts two podcasts: “Field of View”, which covers immersive technologies, and “AI Shift”, which focuses on AI and its societal impact.
Nick Rosa has delivered keynote speeches at major global conferences, including Augmented World Expo (AWE), Meta Connect, Fyuz, Frontier Summit, and CogX. He has lectured at universities such as HEC Montreal, UCL London, the University of Manchester, Bocconi University, and LIUC Cattaneo University.
He also published a book, “Understanding the Metaverse: A Business and Ethical Guide”, which provides insights into the metaverse’s business potential and its ethical considerations. Nick’s career includes leading extended reality and metaverse strategies at Accenture, IBM iX, and other global organisations. He has held roles such as European Digital Transformation Lead and Global Augmented and Virtual Reality Strategy Lead at IBM iX, focusing on driving digital transformation and managing relationships with C-suite executives.
He was the Metaverse Strategy Lead for Europe at Accenture, where he developed global strategy frameworks and go-to-market approaches for virtual worlds and immersive experiences.
Nick was an Industry Technology Innovation Director at Accenture Strategy & Consulting, where he helped clients define innovation strategies and implement emerging technologies. He has also been the Director of the Accenture Global Generative AI Studio for Consumer Products, focusing on AI-led transformation programmes for Fortune 1000 companies.
Nick has been featured in media outlets such as Wired UK, Forbes Slovakia, Il Sole 24 Ore, Diario Financiero, and La Repubblica. He received the Nextant - Rising Star Award from the Virtual World Society in 2024 in recognition of his contributions to the immersive technology and AI industries.
