Janine Campling is an experienced professional with a strong background in sustainable development, carbon markets, and finance. She is the founder of Green United Development (GUD), an equitable carbon market partner, MRV technology developer, and distributor of high-integrity carbon credits. GUD is committed to creating equitable solutions within the carbon market, fostering sustainability through innovative technology and partnerships.
 

Janine has been a Board Member at GUD Malta, where she is part of a voluntary organisation that brings together global leaders and experts in sustainable development. Additionally, she was a Board Member at Global Urban Development, an international policy organisation with a network of over 700 leaders and experts across 60 countries. This role involved contributing to policies promoting sustainable urban growth and development.
 

Previously, Janine worked as an Associate at Generation Investment Management. Generation is a sustainable investment manager, and Janine contributed to its efforts in advancing investments that align with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.

Before her roles in sustainability-focused organisations, Janine held various positions in corporate relations and finance. She worked at Anglo American, a leading global mining company, where she supported the transition to sustainable practices within the sector. 

At Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, Janine Campling was part of the Engagement, Solutions & Trading Group, and at Deutsche Bank, she worked within the Global Investment Solutions in Private Wealth Management. Her career also includes an earlier role as an Analyst for International Bond Strategy at Barclays Capital PLC.
