Hirander Misra is the Chairman and CEO of GMEX Group, a company that provides innovative technology solutions for electronic trading and post-trade infrastructure across various asset classes, including securities, derivatives, commodities, and digital assets.
 

He is also the Chairman and CEO of ZERO13 ( GMEX Group company), a COP28 award-winning automated AI and blockchain-driven ‘Network of Networks’ PaaS ecosystem for carbon credits and ESG real-world assets interoperable across multiple APIs and blockchains. 

Hirander Misra serves as Chairman of SECDEX Group, a regulated multi-asset hybrid exchange and post-trade platform launched in Seychelles, Africa. He has also been a Non-Executive Director of ALTX East Africa and a Senior Realtime Data Controller at Thomson Reuters.

Previously, Hirander co-founded Chi-X Europe Limited, a Pan-European multilateral trading facility (MTF), which became the second-largest equities trading venue in Europe. Chi-X was sold to Bats Global Markets (now part of CBOE Global Markets) for $365 million. 
 

Hirander has over 28 years of experience in the electronic trading and fintech sectors. As Director of MISRA Ventures Limited, Hirander provides senior-level advisory services in electronic trading. 
 

Hirander is also an influential speaker at major events such as COP28, COP29, the World Economic Forum in Davos, and the Greentech Festival. 

He is recognised as one of the top 10 influential business leaders in the UK blockchain industry and was featured in LATTICE80’s list of top influencers in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals agenda. Hirander has also been named the Most Influential CEO 2024 in the UK for his contributions to carbon credits and sustainability.
 

Hirander is a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MSc in Management Information Systems at City, St George’s, University of London.
